Hello everyone. Thank you for visiting the New
Breed Academy basketball site. We at New Breed Academy
are excited about having your children join our league. Yes we are fairly new. New Breed has been around operating in a small
club form under AAU (Ameateur Athletics Union) during off seasons and summer months, but after
many requests from players and parents like yourselves we have decided to become a Non-Profit league which is organized under
AAU.
What does that mean? It means every child registered in our league
is automatically registerd with AAU and will have an AAU card which is good until August 2009 that allows them to
play any sport in their age brackett under the AAU umbrella ie: basketball, football, wrestling, track, ect.
Our main goal is to provide fun, exciting and challenging games with practices focused
on primarily the fundamentals of basketball, building TEAM spirit, strengthning
player skills, and all around community bonding.
New Breed Academy is about bringing
out the best in everyone associated with the league from player, coaches, referees, parents, board members and volunteers. Every
child in our league is important to us from the 5yr old to the 6th grader. We value their gifts and talents because they are
a gift and without them we would have no league.
With the support of our parents and the community we know New
Breed Academy Basketball League will be a success.
